Vision Scientist
I am a PhD graduate from Queen’s University Belfast where my research focused on how people with a visual impairment navigate towns and cities. I have also worked in an ophthalmology clinical setting for over 10 years as an administrator and retinal photographer.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Public Health in Queen’s University Belfast and my research includes working with people with diabetes, inherited retinal conditions and certification of visual impairment. I presented my research at both local and international conferences. My experience in clinics and research has given me an insight and understanding into the daily life of people with a visual impairment.
